Watering plants with water that has been stored inside a pyramid improves growth compared to untreated water.

Anecdotal reports from multiple pyramid researchers describe plants irrigated with pyramid-stored water as growing more vigorously than controls watered normally. No controlled plant growth experiment using pyramid water has been published in an indexed peer-reviewed journal. The claim is structurally similar to magnetized water irrigation research, which has a stronger evidence base.

Rated very low. The only sources are anecdotal accounts in popular books (Paul Horn's narrative in DeSalvo 2003; Flanagan's general statements). No controlled study with plant growth measurements, statistical analysis, or replication has been published in any indexed journal. Structurally similar to the magnetized water irrigation claim, which does have peer-reviewed evidence — pyramid water research should be evaluated against that more established body of literature.

Multiple pyramid researchers, including Patrick Flanagan and accounts summarised in DeSalvo (2003), describe improved plant growth when irrigation water has been stored inside a pyramid before use. The claim appears in Paul Horn’s narrative of pyramid experiments: “Plants watered with water left inside the pyramid flourish better than plants watered with regular water.” Flanagan similarly reported enhanced biological responses from pyramid-treated water in Kirlian photography experiments on plant tissue.

The proposed mechanism — that the pyramid modifies the physical structure of water (hydrogen bonding, clustering, or subtle energetic properties) — is structurally analogous to the magnetized water irrigation hypothesis, which has a more developed experimental literature (see Magnetized Water Review 2014). Both posit that a physical treatment applied to water before irrigation alters its bioavailability or interaction with plant cells.

Why confidence is very low: No controlled plant growth study using pyramid water as the independent variable has been published in an indexed peer-reviewed journal. All existing accounts are anecdotal or embedded in qualitative descriptions. This claim warrants a controlled experiment — ideally measuring germination rate, shoot length, chlorophyll content, and fresh/dry weight in plants irrigated with pyramid-stored vs. untreated water — before any meaningful confidence can be assigned.
