Yield Enhancement
Active electrical stimulation of seeds or growing plants produces measurable increases in harvestable biomass, fruit count, and overall crop output.
Yield enhancement is one of the most consistently reported outcomes across electroculture research. The 2025 Romanian potato study documented tuber yield roughly doubling in treated plots; the 2023 Samara PEF study observed a 22.8 % height increase at the optimal field strength of 30 kV/m. Historical data from Christofleau’s 1920s multi-modal antenna work also reported improved crop outputs.
Effect sizes vary with crop species, field strength, treatment duration, and environmental conditions, so results should not be extrapolated uncritically.
